Pharmacy Weight Loss Pickering | GPhC Registration No. 9012511 | Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of our online pharmacy weight loss clinic. By using our services, you agree to these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Us

Pharmacy Weight Loss Pickering is a General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registered online pharmacy operating in Pickering, United Kingdom (GPhC No. 9012511). We provide clinically supervised weight loss services, including the supply of prescription and non-prescription medicines where appropriate.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. Our weight loss treatments are only available to individuals who meet specific clinical criteria, including minimum body mass index (BMI) thresholds as defined by current NHS and NICE guidelines.

By completing our online consultation, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful. Providing false or misleading information may result in the termination of your account and could pose a serious risk to your health. We reserve the right to decline treatment at our clinical discretion.

3. Prescriptions

All prescription medicines are issued only following a satisfactory online consultation reviewed and approved by one of our registered prescribers. Prescriptions are issued in accordance with UK law and clinical guidelines.

We do not issue prescriptions automatically or on demand. Our pharmacist and prescribing team retain the right to refuse or withdraw a prescription at any time if, in their professional judgement, it is not safe or appropriate to supply the requested medication.

Prescriptions issued through our service are valid only for use within our pharmacy. We do not issue paper prescriptions for use at third-party pharmacies.

4. Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of placing your order. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely through an encrypted payment gateway.

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice, though changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

5. Delivery

Once your consultation has been reviewed and your prescription approved by our pharmacist, your order will be dispatched within 1 working day. Delivery times may be affected by factors outside our control, including postal delays or adverse weather conditions.

Medicines are dispatched in discreet, secure packaging to your nominated delivery address. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the parcel where a signature is required. We are not liable for delays caused by incorrect address details provided at checkout.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your order at any time before your prescription has been approved and your order dispatched. To cancel, please contact us as soon as possible via the details provided on our website.

Due to the nature of prescription medicines and patient safety requirements, we are unable to accept returns of dispensed medications. Refunds for approved and dispatched orders will only be considered where there has been a dispensing error on our part or where goods are received damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

7. Medical Disclaimer

The information and services provided through our platform are intended to support, not replace, the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. Our online consultation is a clinical tool and does not constitute a full medical examination.

You remain responsible for informing us of any changes to your health, medications, or medical history throughout your treatment. If you experience any adverse effects, you must stop using your medication immediately and seek advice from a healthcare professional or call 999 in an emergency.

8. Privacy and Data

We handle all personal and medical data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your data is used solely to provide and improve our services. We aim to respond to all data-related enquiries within 48 hours. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last revised. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
